Your Future Responsibilities :

  • Being part of one of our cross-functional teams, you foster the team responsibilities and understanding around software quality and work with other team members to make quality to one important part of the development process.

  • Pair with developers to ensure bi-directional knowledge sharing and teach how to write meaningful tests.

  • Collaborate with your QA colleagues in our QA Chapter on improvements to our testing framework and common practices/processes.

  • Share knowledge and experience, in your team and the QA Chapter. Define our understanding of quality, make it measurable and improve it constantly.

  • Automate regressions and repeated executions.

  • Perform exploratory and usability testing when necessary.

  • Proceed with some manual tests, as long as necessary.

 What you should bring with you:

  • At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance practices and processes.

  • At least 3 years of experience with automated testing/working in automation engineering.

  • Experience with CI tools like Travis CI, Jenkins or other pipeline tools/integrations.

  • Strong experience in using Selenium.

  • Experience with git.

  • Base knowledge in languages like JavaScript or Ruby.

  • Comprehensive understanding of web technologies, such as REST APIs and microservices.

  • Knowledge with Cloud services (AWS) and Docker is a plus.

  • Experience in working with/being part of agile teams.

  • Fluent in spoken and written English is a must, German is not mandatory but a plus.
